Administers the City's emergency response efforts and preparedness program, supervises the administrative and operational functions of public safety, code compliance, animal control, and has oversight of the Rosemead contract with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. Provides liaison to contract service representatives, other agencies, and the public; performs related duties as required.
